Joshua A. Weiner, M.D. has been named a "Top Doctor" by Washingtonian Magazine from 2010 to present. He is a weekly contributor to NBC News 4 in Washington, DC, and he has made several recent appearances on the TODAY Show and MSNBC's The Cycle and Hardball with Chris Matthews. He has been in private practice in Virginia since 2003.

Joshua Weiner, M.D. is a board-certified adult psychiatrist and a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist. He received special certification for Suboxone therapy for opiate addiction treatment.

Dr. Weiner is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Dr. Weiner received his medical education at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. He completed an internship in internal medicine followed by an adult psychiatry residency at The George Washington University Hospital. After his adult psychiatry training, Dr. Weiner completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Virginia.
